I was fortunate to get to know Margaret in her role as Executive Director at the Montessori Academy of London. Margaret is a great leader and mentor; she takes extra time to listen to ideas; ask key questions, and collaborate on resolutions. Margaret also has a charismatic ability to encourage leadership development in others as she continues her lifelong leadership journey.

My goal in life is to effect positive change in society and our future through children and education. I strongly believe in the child’s potential, which is often not supported by our adult perspective. I am passionate about creating shifts in thinking so that true potential is realized. I advocate a Montessori approach to everything. Particularly as a way to bring about change in how we view children and as a way of thinking to address many challenges society faces today.
I am first a wife and mother, writer, lifelong learner, teacher, former head of school, teacher trainer, Montessori consultant and speaker, and a “very supportive Aunt Maggie” to seven nieces and nephews. I also have many passions including reading, cooking, walking, gardening, travelling and lots of outdoor sports sprinkled with hot yoga.
I have two grown children who, with my husband Mark, have been immersed in a Montessori approach to life. They are all tremendous cheerleaders of my work and passion to change our world through education.
